The Productivity Commission
The Productivity Commission is an initiative by The Swedish Unions within Industry together with Arena Idé.
The aim is to increase knowledge about all areas of productivity, to stimulate policy development and to strengthen trade union perspectives in the public debate. The industrial development is crucial to Sweden’s development and openness to the outside world is a necessary condition for growth and competitiveness.
Daniel Lind is the research leader for the Productivity Commission. For the past 15 years, Daniel has worked as a chief economist and policy director within the trade union movement. During this period he has also done research on globalization, the importance of the manufacturing sector, productivity and structural change.
